Try using power switch to ON position and wait for five to ten minutes. It may start charging.

Computer will not recongnize coby player.

What I have seen it is should show up under the flash drives. The one thing you can try is going to the coby website and downloading the driver for the player. That should fix that your computer is not finding your player. Hope this helps.

You need to try and update the drivers for you Zen.
The drivers that it came with maybe out dated.

My GPX mp3 player says MTP?

MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol. If you did not run your installation CD BEFORE plugging the mp3 player into the computer, Windows XP and higher will read it as an MTP Device. As long as the player does not cause you problems, there is nothing wrong with your computer calling it that. If this is a problem: unplug the mp3 player from the computer, uninstall all software for that player, restart computer, reinstall allsoftware from installation CD, restart computer, then plug mp3 player into computer. Good luck!

I dont have any files on my Mp3 player yet my memory is full and yet it doesnt show up on my computer or my mp3 player

you need to plug it into a computer and open the files to reset it. there is a bus port that you can plug into --the MP3 player will send a signal to the computer and open a file you can see. you will have to delete or add this way too. I just did my sons MP3.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Need help with rio forge mp3!! its messed up

Same problem here. No amount of updates or battery removal will help. Purging, re-downloading, reformatting...all failed. I'm afraid at this point there is nothing left to do but toss it.

When I plug my Lyra into the pc, neither the mp3 player or computer accept it....

The problem could be a HOST of things depending on your Computer, Operating System, etc. You must call in or take your computer to an expert for this one, I'm afraid.
