Question about Compaq Presario 2100U Notebook
I would try removing the hard drive with the laptop turned off without the power adapter connected. Then reinstall the hard drive and reconnect the power adapter. Check in the BIOS to see if the hard drive is reconogized. If all this fails I recommend replacing the hard drive and reloading the operating system
