Probably your unspecified device has a heater incorporated and your breaker's amperage is too low for device working for hot water..
Check your electric installation.
If it's ok, your device might have a circuit problem. Check it using proper electronic testers.

Can the motor control board cause the house circuit breaker to trip?

It's unlikely. An internal fuse would blow first, I'm assuming. If you've diagnosed this far you sound capable of continuing. Electricity is dangerous!!! I would remove all things from the board, 1 by 1 plug each component into board until the breaker trips. That should pinpoint what is tripping breaker. I would assume a motor.

My Triton shower Eco Excite 8.5kW keeps tripping fuse when turned on !!

Could be a pump jam, do you have hard water ? Could be scale build up.
Is the shower head blocked ? Unscrew just the head (leaving the hose line attached to shower) and try again. If that is the blockage, then clean it with descaler.
Also check you have a good pressure on your water supply going in the Triton. Low pressure can set off safety switches. Again, check for blockages.
Check also for breaks in wiring and check there is no water ingress at any and all connections.
Is it an old unit ? Is it serviced regularly ? .......finally....
are all the settings set to MAX ? if so then use lowest setting first.
If it works then move settings up gradually until it trips.
Any filters need to be checked if possible.
Good luck Red.

My fuse in the main electrical box keeps tripping. It's the fuse for the house lights. How can I check what is doing it? Thanks in advance. Big L

is it only blowing the fuse when the fan is turned on. if it is then the motor may have gone..... if not the fan turn off all mains leaving the lighting on. and turn on lights one by one. if this does not blow the fuse. turn on as meany lights as you can until it blows. if it does this then the fuse or the trip switch is faulty and will need to be replaced. but if it does it only with the fan light or using the fan then the motor will be at fault. could be the fan starter c66 part or the motor its self.

Have a mira sports shower. when i turn on at isolated switch light comes on but when i turn on shower light goes out. no sound of water coming to unit or electrical sound in unit.

Have you checked if when turning on the shower water the electrical trip switch turns off at the fuse board. If the shower does keep tripping the RCD then the shower is the problem.

No hot water

Check your fuse/breaker, should be a rcd switch. Depending when the shower was installed the fuse/breaker may be separate from the main fuse board, if it is an rcd switch it should be between 30A and 40A rating. If it is still fuse wire or cartridge fuse it should be replaced by residual current device.
Remember to turn the shower off in the bathroom before returning power to it.
Hope this helps

Dryer turns on briefly, then does not keep going. belt is fine and also manually turned to see if it was a reset. after turning on it dies...then after turning on nothing at all. power to motor is fine and...

It doesn't work at all If your dryer doesn't work at all, it could be because of problems with: Power from the house Door switch Thermal fuse Wiring Power from the house Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Door switch If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Thermal fuse On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing

Washing machine keeps tripping electric switch

Hiya,
there is a few things that will do this to your electics 1st & formost if your trip switch is tripping off remember this is a safty device to prevent fire so ignoring the problem & switching the power back on to try again could run the risk of fire!!

when the power trips you will need to know at what point in the wash this happens if its when the machine is emptying then it would be a pump issue if the machine is emptying no problem then the issue is more likely to be the motor either of which would need to be replaced if you are having these problems.

on rare ocasions you can spring a leak & if water gets on the electrics this will also trip the power but this is 1 of the least likely posabilatys.. rest assured if the power is tripping off then your home electrics are working fine & to confirm all sockets run from 1 main fuse all lights run from a second main fuse then there is a few other bits that run on there on fuses too i.e. cooker, power shower etc.. remember always get a qualified electrician to work on your electrics to ensure the job is carried out correctly

Hope this helps
