Where can i get ribbon connectors for sony stero system part#26AWG THE END OF THE CONNECTED IS BROKEN OFF

I doubt at this point you will ever find a new one but hope is not lost entirely. Since these are not high current cables the possibility exists to solder the one end of a ribbon cable to the board and then attach a dB connector to the cable for interconnection and taking the system apart. This would solve this problem. In fact ribbon cable of different types can be obtained new and this might be a good upgrade to do as most dB connectors are made with Gold flashed pins. The trouble is not many technicians will want to do this for cheap.

My monitor is not showing red colors? how do i fix

There is a number of possible reasons why your monitor lost the red color. A good guess, however, is a broken cable or connector. Check the plug and socket of the cable for bend or broken pins. If everything looks OK, try to change for a different cable.
If the problem persists, a pin of the connector soldered to the PCB internally may be broken. This is an easy repair for a service technician but I really recommend you do not do it yourself.

The cable connection on my tv broke off how can I connect back to the cable

On most TV sets, the cable connector (also called an F-connector) is just press-fitted into the metal housing of the tuner (which selects the channels). It's not very strong mechanically and is pretty easily broken by tripping over the cable, moving the TV if the cable is too short, or often by cable technicians who overtighten the cable connection with a wrench.

The good news is that this can be fixed. There are two ways. The simple method is to replace the tuner. It's quick but costly as a new tuner may run $100. The second way is to replace the broken-off F-connector. On some sets it's possible to do this without removing the tuner, but not always. This repair may take a little more labor time, but saves the cost of the tuner.

Either way, this is a repair that's best left to a professional. Without the soldering skills and equipment needed, it's possible to do major damage to the TV and tuner circuit boards. I would recommend getting an estimate for the repair from a shop in your area. Yes, there are still places that fix TVs, but they are getting scarce.

Another possible "fix" is to forget about using the TV cable connection and use a VCR or DVR to tune the channels, and just use the TV's video and audio inputs. It doesn't repair the TV, but it gets you back onto the cable.

I hope you've found this helpful. Thanks for using Fixya!

Cable input connector broken off

Usually the connector or at least a new connector can be put back on. If there is minor damage to the board, a tech can repair it in most cases.

RCA F31671SE Turns on nothing else.

Do you have sound with the blank screen? Some RCA sets had a screwy design problem where an s-video signal wouldn't show up unless you had a cable plugged into the normal video connector as well, so you might give that a try (that is, plug in both regular and s-video cables from the source, then select the s-video input). The broken-off cable connector is repairable (replacement connectors are available) but it means soldering both large and small connections in tight spots, so it might be worth calling a service technician if you are planning to keep the set.
