Question about Dryers
My GE Profile Dryer Model# DPXR473EWOWW is taking an extremely long time to dry a load, it seems to have heat but takes about 240 mins. to dry a load.
Some dryers have more than one heating elliment..
A way to check is -- take the exaust hose off.. Put a mirror so you can see into the hole & hopefully see the heating elliment(s).. When running they should glow like a stove burner..
If it is not gloing its not working & needs to be replaced..
I suspect that one may have went out..
I hope this helps !!
Please rate me good ;o)
