Samsung Intensity II U460 Verizon Logo

My Samsung Intensity II has added duplicate contacts to my contact list and will not allow me to delete them.

When I tried to delete, it left blanks in the contacts list. It also randomly assigns contacts to groups and will not allow me to delete the contacts from groups or delete the entire group. The problem did not appear until I used the group function. I have tried everything, even used the backup assistant, but the blanks remain. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem?

If you just put your sim in you might need to give it 24 hours to provision. Also, if it doesn't work, check with your carrier. You might have an incorrect sim in there. There has been modifications to the chips and some of the older ones that had no problems do not work in newer phones.

How to move contacts and folders from old hotmail account to new hotmail account

Hotmail is a free online email service provided by MSN. Hotmail users can create contact lists in their email accounts, which allows them quick access to the contact information of their friends, families and co-workers. The contact lists can be easily changed, contacts can be added or deleted, information can be updated and certain contacts can be designated as favorites. Contact favorites are listed on the inbox menu for easy accessibility when composing emails or instant messaging.

Type in the contact's name, nickname, address, business information and phone number. You can also add other information, such as a person's birthday and personal notes. Click "Save." How do i delete duplicate contacts in windows live email address book

I have assumed that:

1. Your identity is based upon an email account @hotmail.com,
or @msn.com, or @live.com - and
2. When you open WLMail, you allow it to sign into the same
hotmail, msn or live identity

If these assumptions are correct, an easy way to clean your
contact list is via the webmail interface.

Close Windows Live Mail

Use your web browser to sign into your mail account at
http://mail.live.com.

Click on Options, followed by More Options.

Scroll down to "Customize your contacts", and click on "Clean up
duplicate contacts".

Use the wizard to merge or delete duplicates.

Sign out from the webmail interface

Open Windows Live Mail and allow the program to sign into your
identity.

When you select the contacts menu, WLMail should synchronize with
the contacts list on the central server.
