My inner driver door handle broke in which appears to be a common issue..

However at the very last step of replacement the Lock Actuator wire is too small for the round point to each the actual lock. It looks like the Actuator is not able to position itself to "open" therefore I can't get the right length to attach the part. is there any fix to this aside from taking off the door panel to access the actuator?

With the new handle not installed, you should be able to grasp the rod with needle nose pliers and pull the rod forward and slide it into the new handle plastic clip and then install the handle assembly

2005 Buick Rendezvous you can hear the relay clicking but the door locks will not open and close

Check for broke wires inside the boot from body to driver door , this is a common problem . If you don't find broke wire's , pull the door panel to get at driver door switch . Check for voltage an ground circuit .
Rendezvous Door Lock System Components
The power door lock system consists of the following components:
?€¢
Body control module (BCM)

?€¢
Driver door lock switch

?€¢
Front passenger door lock switch

?€¢
Door lock actuators in each of the doors

?€¢
Door lock system fuse into the BCM (BCM D 25A fuse)

Door Lock Operation
When the BCM detects a transition of either of the door lock switches to the LOCK position, it switches the door lock actuator lock control circuit to voltage. Since the lock actuator unlock control circuits are at ground potential within the BCM, the door lock actuator motors transition to the Lock position.
Driver Door Unlock Operation
When the BCM detects a transition of either of the door lock switches to the UNLOCK position, it switches the driver door lock actuator unlock control circuit to voltage. Since the door lock actuator lock control circuit is at ground potential within the BCM, the LF door lock actuator motor transitions to the Unlock position.
The driver door lock actuator unlock control circuit is a dedicated control circuit used only for the driver door lock actuator motor. This is done so that the driver door may be unlocked by itself using a keyless entry transmitter or an automatic door unlock function (if programmed).
Passenger Door Unlock Operation
When the BCM detects a transition of either of the door lock switches to the UNLOCK position, it switches the door lock actuator unlock control circuits to voltage. Since the door lock actuator lock control circuit is at ground potential within the BCM, the passenger door lock actuator motors transition to the Unlock position.
The door lock actuator unlock control circuits are dedicated control circuits used only for the passenger door lock actuator motors. This is done so that the driver door may be unlocked seperate from the passenger doors using a keyless entry transmitter or an automatic door unlock function (if programmed). This video on testing computer controlled door locks on a Subaru , doesn't matter . test yours same way > The BCM controls your door locks .

I have no power to my door locks and windows what could be the problem there's no fuse or relay as far as I know

There's always a fuse or relay. Some vehicles have 2-3 boxes in various places in the engine, under dash, behind glove box or either front door gash visibly obscured by the doors. But aside from that the usual problem is that some sort of strain against the door lock actuator such as icing or someone pulling the handle when the actuator is energized results in breakage. The answer is usually replace the door lock actuator. Prices vary and frequently each of 4 doors uses a different unit. My wife broke the SUV door last year. The actuator cost $389. Found it at a junk yard for $100. Other problems are rodent wire damage, excessive connector wear, corroded connectors. Good luck.

REPLACE DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ON 1996 OLDS 98

I am guessing your question is How to Replace the door lock actuator??? you will need to remove the door inner panel, BTW keep the window wound up while you are doing this repair. You will have discovered you need to remove the door handle, the window handle and deal with the door's wiring. It is not easy to get at but you will find it better with as much as possible taken out of the way,

Drivers door will not open with key or battery hand piece,,other doors okay with both. 2002 crv

-If the problem is that keyless remote does unlock or lock door, but the lock lever still move when pulling up and down by hand. Door still open and close with both inner and outer, then might the driver door lock actuator is bad. The actuator lock and unlock the door for you when using the keyless remote or door lock/unlock switch.

-if you try using the key to unlock door and the key doesn't turn the door cylinder, then you have a bad door lock cylinder.

-if the lock lever doesn't move up or down and you can't open door using any handle, then you got a bad lock latch assembly.

I'm not sure what the issue is but hope this helps you.

2000 GMC Sierra passenger door won't lock

The Actuator is not functioning anymore, check to see if there is a fuse for it first. If that is ok then remove the actuator and test it outside using some wire and your car battery to see if actually moves or doesent this will tell you if you need a replacement.

Door lock problem

Most probably the lock actuator is frozen in down position. it could be your lock cylinder, but the actuator is the most common problem. You have to remove the inner trim panel to access it.
