I have bought this wencam and got the drivers with it but while trying to install cd doesnt work and giving error -6001 setup has experience the error, delete temporary files and try again

dont understand why it doesnt work, can you please help

When I downloaded this driver it would only download as a (.rar) file, and would only open in Windows Media player which does not let me download the driver :S

Although most mikomi webcams are actually made by ming jong, this particular one is made by adomax. Search for adomax AP-7121 in google, and you should find the drivers quite easily. Or just go to http://driverscollection.com/?file_cid=394391654251e4a149efc1d35e8 and get it from there.

I don't know if this will fix your problem, but hopefully it will help to what to search for.

yeah, as far as i'm aware the manufacturer is in fact a chinese company called Ming Jong ( would explain not being able to find a mikomi site !
some drivers here, im not quite sure which is mine though =/

If you have problems with the install, check what other programs are running - I had to terminate the KService process that is installed by the BBC iplayer then had no problems.

I havent got one these webcams but youre problem might be the CD is wrong for the windows you have go on www.Mikomi.com and download the proper driver for it :D
