Just purchased this item and was beginning lea rning to use it. Turned it on, got the first and second screens - showing the 'visual land' logo and then it turned off again after 30? or so seconds I' ve tried a number of times with the same results. What do I do now? Any/all help appreciated, thank you

I had the same problem with the n810. I was using a non-oem battery and the connections were a loose fit causing the battery not able to charge.
If you take the battery cover off, hold the battery firmly in place. Connect the charger and make sure battery is charging, then press the boot button. If it boots and stays on, then shuts off when you stop holding the battery. Then you probably have a loose connection or a bad battery. Also try cleaning the connector with a pencil eraser and alcohol.
I had to wedge tthe battery in place. You can find a spare battery with a desktop charger on Ebay for around $10US.
LOL, you're up the creek. Never buy a computer that does not have a CD Drive on it because that is what you need now.
May the AC Adapter Power Cord is bad. Some of them have a indicator light on them when you plug them in the wall. Does yours have a light on it and does it light up?
When you plug the power cord in the tablet do you see any lights?
I have a hacker inside my Samsung galaxy 8 notebook, he controls my ph and I pad, how do I break the tracking link.
You are not turning it ll the way off, merely to standby. The wireless function remains active while in standby and drains the battery. Hold the Off switch for about 5 seconds. You should notice a different screen look. Or turn off the wireless when not using it.
