Question about Motorola Mobility MD761 Cordless Phone

Motorola MD760 dies after 5 minutes of use-- from being charged for days on base

I may have purchased a unit with a 'dud' battery, phone is new - 2 mos old and whenever used for more than 4-5 minutes of chat, it dies. Seems to not really ever charge the battery when on the base for hours/days past 25%. Is it probably just a bad battery or something more? I do not want to replace the battery if the problem is in the base or some other handset defect. thanks

My Motorola MD761 series cordless telephone needs a battery replacement and I have tried several sites including Motorola itself but no one seems to have replacement batteries

I had the same problem - it's the battery. Once I replaced it, it's fine. It's so hard to believe that Motorola put out bad batteries in their phone. I have heard of this issue from several people all ready.

Same problem as previously described. My batteries are around 6 months old. They do not keep the phones charged. Constantly playing musical phones by placing the different phones on different handsets to keep a charge. It seems this is the second time I've replaced batteries and I'm frustrated. I've never had this much problem with any of my other cordless phones.

All three of my Panasonic KX-TGA630S phones are extremely crackly and full of static. What do I do about this?

I already had the base unit and 2 additional handsets, but one month ago, two of the handset do not charge the battery,

I leave the phones charging for 24 hours, and certainly not reached using 5 minutes and dies

I place it in the base load, and loading sign appears, showing up not being charged as well because if I leave it 24 hours Supposed to be loaded.

My MOTOKRZR K1 battery/phone will not stay charged very long.

Let ur phone completely die. Don't charge it or anything when the low battery notice comes on. After it completely dies, put it on the charger only until it says charge complete. U might have to do it a few times to get ur battery performing as it should. If you charge ur battery too often, it causes ur battery to swell (weird I know) and your battery starts resisting charge. Hope this helps!! (I used to have the same phone and the same problem. I did this, and now my mom is using the phone and has an exceptional battery time)

Cl flashing on display

You need to reset the time after a power outage.  Press the Day/Check, Hour, and Minute buttons until the correct time is heard-- Press Day/Check until you hear the correct day announced. Then do the same with Hour, and then Minute.

Dead battery won't recharge

if it still new and you've still got the warranty then you should ask for replacement of the whole unit.
seems that the problem of your phone is the unit itself, the charging circuit migth have disorders/malfuntioning.
ever tried checking for the specifications and directions for charging the unit.
i greatly suggest that if you got the warranty still, have it replaced.
good day!!!

Uniden handset TCX905 with base unit TRU8866-if compatible?

I just successfully registered 4 TCX905s with my TRU8865 base - it's documented in the TCX905 manual.

Be sure the handset you want to register is fully charged.

Remove the handset you want to register from its charger.

Now unplug the AC for the main base, hold down the 'find handset' key on the base and plug the AC in again, when it beeps, you can let go of that button.

Hold down the '#' on the handset you want to register, it will show 'Registering Handset...' and when it beeps, it's done - registered, you're good to go :)

Base phone handset #1 holding charge

The base unit should not need a charge. It should be powered by the plug in adapter. It may have a battery to keep operation for a short time in a power outage. The adapter may be loose, the adapter could be broken or the plug in the phone may be broken.
