Why do you want to change the Pinch Roller? Most of the time they just need a good cleaning and other things in the deck like back tension checked. Pinch Rollers are only changed if they are cracked and I have seen few cracked Pinch Roller in 40 years.
Engine was not properly tuned, there might be missetting, or most of parts exploited. you have to rebuild it , I only do it fully ,

You didn't give model so its hard to be sure...however check if your machine has a slide switch on the LHS of the Kybd...it may be in the PS position...should be in 10,12..etc.
On the lhs of the keyboard check the Pitch Sel slide switch position;...it may be in the PS position...change it to 10,12 etc, to match your print wheel.
Joany, look for a function, usually on the left side of the keyboard on the IBM,that has the markings 10,12 and 15. And if my memory is correct, there will be a series of lamps which light up at the selected pitch. I would look for a key marked "pitch" and press that. Good luck.
