Viewsonic N3251 doesn't turn on right away (by 5 users)

Upon pressing the power button the remote, the red light on the lcd tv turns green, but that's about it. I have to uplug it then press the power button again for it to turn on. What could be causing this? Weak signal?

I have the same problem.

The ViewSonic N3251w I have has been giving problems for three months. Turn it on, green light, no picture or sound.
Another time it will work normally for for a time then black screen and no sound.
It may work then black screen with audio.
Turn set on, nothing than after 20 minutes a picture and sound will come for a time.
I have unplug set and still get the same results.

I've had this TV for almost two years and I just now started getting this problem last night. What's the deal here?!

Exact same problem, press on or remote and most of the time you have to unplug the TV and then try again.

Solution... Call viewsonic and bitch till you get a new one (diff model). Good luck, you're going to be on hold forever.
