Does it make the screeching sound continually after it is turned on or just when it is turned on and then the sound goes away? Knowing this will help in diagnosing the problem.
Sounds like it needs what are called glides or felt. This is what keeps the metal drum from contacting the metal housing. If this is let go too long the drum can be ruined
your drum glides/rollers are defective on the front edge of dryer where the drum rests, sounds most like the glides are glazed, not roller bearings but check it could be either
If it was your blower wheel it would not make that noise first cheak and see if thewheel has play on the shaft if so then it will need to be replace second turn blower wheel by hand back and forht if there is a screaching sounds if is a dry bearing on the motor .If so if you can live with the sound it will not go right away if not remove motor and replace. If there is play on the wheel you will need clip pliers and normal pliers and remove both clip[ on shaft and clip on shaft revers after install new blower wheel good luck:)
