My poulan riding lawnmower will not roll. The

My poulan 48 INCH 25 HP riding lawnmower model # PR25PH48ST will not roll. The neutral lever has been pulled out and all four wheels roll freely. The back roll opposite like a limited slip rearend but, will not roll together. The pully on the top of the transmission appears to be free as well. The lever on the transmission is activated by pulling on the neutral rod at the back of the mower. Any help will be appreciated

Hi..my name is Keith..and it sounds like the neutral rod on the back of the mower needs to come out further to fully disengage the transmission so you can roll it..it should have an adjusting nut on the rod..and i would turn the nut in a couple of turns until the lawn mower will roll..i hope this will help..if not please write me back

Poulan Lawnmower

The squeal is most likely the drive belt moving against a pulley or tensioner which is frozen due to a bad bearing. This can start a fire at worst and burn through the belt at the least. You need to have someone take a look at your belts.
