Download the firmware updater from the mobiblu site
Install the software, connect the player via the USB cable, set the switch to hold and run the updater. When it is finished, stop the device and disconnect it. When you power up, it will be back to factory settings (any data/music will be erased).

Samsumg YP-U2 player constantly on HOLD. Help.

I had the same problem - culprit is a broken hold switch. You can return it for a refund, or so what I did:

I fixed it by prying off the hold switch, and jamming a small flat-head screwdriver in to try and slide the 'switch' back to the 'off' position. Took a while, and it permanently breaks your hold (which is broken anyway making the thing unusable), but it worked.

Just be careful not to smash it when you get really frustrated! It took me a solid 30 minutes to finally get it.
