I was working on Zebra LP2844 label printers. I need to print labels and barcodes from a data source using EPL.I have never done this things before so any help is appriciated
How can I print labels using LP2844 without installing the driver setup? Do you think The Epson Standard Code might be of some use for me?

Epson standard code is totally different. EPL is Eltron printer language. I've not programmed in it, but there should be a programmers manual out there somewhere.

OS X 10.5.2 and above have built-in ZPL and EPL drivers. Plug the
printer in to USB, go to System Preferences > Print & Fax, click
+ , and choose the Zebra driver. For the LP2844 you choose the EPL2
driver.

We've been having problems with ours. Make sure that the properties are correctly set, landscape, portrait, 180' rotation, label size, on the printer properties. Then check again through whatever package you are using 'printer properties' and try a print. You may have to re-enter properties each time you print.
