How can I update thhe software - Computers & Internet

if it is windows -in the panel that comes up when you press the start button go to all programs and you will find windows update
click on that and a section will come up with a number of updates available
run the install and sit back for about 4 hours as there may be ,many updates to get through
If you don't have it go on line to microsoft (only) and down load updates

Go into the menu and look for software/firmware upgrade

remove the one from the bike and compare. should be a straight swap mate

many of the computer components need updated drivers to run windows 7. a look at your computers specs shows it came with vista( http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/notebook/0000/Acer/Aspire4730Z/Aspire4730Zsp2.shtml) here is acers drivers page for your computer ( http://support.acer.com/product/default.aspx?modelId=27 ) update all drivers to thhe latest versions. be awre though that not all manufacturers updated all of their older units to accept win 7 so yours may not. good luck

There is a relay for the fuel pump its controled by thhe ASD relay sure you plug a new relay or even swap it out with other relay in the distribution area but you need to make sure why you are not getting fuel check thhe fuel pump fuse is it open if it is replace it and does it blow easy now turn the key and cycle the switch you should hear the fuel pump humming if it doesnt go ahead find the relay take thhe relay cover out and expose the switch are and put it back in its socket key on or off if you collapse the realy to close thhe switch you should hear the fuel pump running if it doesnt you either have a failed fuel pump a bad connection or something not allowing the ASD to engage

P01443 means evap control system control valve, P0171 fuel trim is lean bank 1. Here is te fix and yes you can do this yourself go to thhe right hand side of thhe vehicle and use your ears with the vehicle running you should hear a loose or disconnected vacuum hose if its not at the right side turn off the vehicle and go to the front right or left but thhe front area there you will see a square black canister look at the hose and repair the broken vacuum hose I am very sure you can hear it hissing when the vehicle is running the fix is easy listen and look also your under hood sticker will point out the evap area

you probably have the solid state hard drive (4gb)... its not big enough to hold all the updates .. unfortunately the operating system comes with "auto update" turned on ... it will download updates until the drive is full then will crash .. one way to resolve this is to kill the internet so it cant log on ... you can disconnect or turn off your wifi or if you are fast enough you can use Fn F2 (turns off wifi) .. just watch the wifi light to make sure its off at boot .. there is a lag in response so its a bit tricky ...now once booted you can turn off "auto update" ...then you can turn your wifi or internet back on .. manually update only things you know you have room for .. if your 701 has a CF card slot (like my eeepc 900a . then that can be used as additional hard drive space ... during installation i made that the boot drive (advanced) (of course you cant remove it after that).. the new eeebuntu4 beta is a wonderful upgrade for the system .. but i could only get it working by using thhe CF drive as above.. if you havent already done so you can make a bootable USB jump drive .. you can run Ubuntu off that as well as install from that ...change the boot order in cmos ..to boot first from the Jump dirve ...

All lights come on HP Pavilion dv1000 but will not boot. looked at motherboard and by power connector there is a blown part the number on the board shows PD27. I need to know what thhe part is or a schematic showing
