I have a Pioneer VSX-454 reciever, both 1.25 Amp fuses blown

I have a Pioneer VSX-454 reciever, I have never had any problems with it until last week. Both 1.25 amp fuses on the transformer are blown. Replaced with new ones and blew instantly. Has anyone had this problem and if so could you help me in the right direction to fixing it?

Speakers on my Pioneer VSX-D466S receiver are not working. Is there an internal fuse that may be blown?

some recievers have a monitor button on them. if it gets pushed your sound wont work. look at the display and see if you see the work monitor. if so you should have a monitor button either on the reciever or the remote. it is a toggle button so just push it till it goes away and sound comes back on. make sure to turn sound back down before pushing this button as you might have turned the volume way up trying to hear it. my wife accidentally pushed it last week and she thougt is was broken untill i got home and simply pushed the button.

I have pioneer receiver Vsx-454 i want to know if this receiver is 5.1 surrounds

Yes. It is 5.1 surround. There are 2 front channels, 1 center channel, and 2 rear channels which comprise the "5" in 5.1 surround. The pre-amp output channel for a sub is the ".5".

Its over heating no cheap fix. But wait if u buy an eternal fan n place it on top or behind it will do the trick. Try blowing on top when static happens n sound comes back on.

You have a short either from foreign object inside or blown audio amps. Look for any chard or burnt components.
