I get on top of screen HDMI ROKU. ON THE BOTTOM OF SCREEN. NO SIGNAL. HOW DO I FIX

lost the free manual? it has simple instructions.

no RoKU stated model, saying just Roku means nothing, oK>
it has a real name and model, just like you unstated TV.
lots of Roku)
I have the Ultra (non Dongle) not the STICK.
mine is (best) a floating box. with 1 AC power pack (see?)
and is not optional.
first is power, the Ruku must have power.
then on mine power light on the roku glows
next is internet
and last is hdmi connected to TV.

Power, then internet and hdmi.
finally is TV set to TV's hdmi port number that is ROKU.!
if our ROKU is only a streaming stick (DONGLE)
it steals power from the TV HDMI port.

mine is ethernet connected for max performance

my guess is you have the TVs input selector set wrong
wide guess blind to true MODEL I am, non stated
good luck
and nothing beats a ROKU,
for 1 reason the player apps in it all work and are updated for free.
That is why TVs no come with ROKU inside for that 1 reason.
I use ROKU plex and to my own private servers.

How do I reduce scan file size when the resolution is already 200 dpi?

An 8.5 inch wide document scanned at 200 dpi gives you an image that is 1700 pixels wide. This is almost enough to fill a fullHD TV screen at native resolution (1920 pixels wide) which is unnecessary detail. I would use any picture editing programme (many free ones available) to reduce the overall pixel width of your already scanned images by 50 percent. This will automatically reduce the 1MB image to 250k. If you can scan again, use 100 dpi to scan - the result is same; image will be half as wide (and long), and picture file size one quarter of the 200 dpi scan.

The text along the sides of the tv screen are not completely in view

you need to change the 'zoom' on the tv by the remote.
Normal mode frames the 4:3 video to the 16:9 picture area by displaying it in its original aspect ratio, with vertical gray or black bars on both sides of the screen. The disadvantage of this method is the fact that the image is small by virtue of not using the entire width of the screen. This is also known as the 4:3 mode.
Full mode Full mode horizontally stretches the 4:3 video evenly across the entire width of the screen. This is the proper mode to display anamorphic video. If used for standard aspect ratio video, everything on the screen will appear wider than normal. Contrast this with anamorphic video displayed without processing on a 4:3 display, in which people on the screen will appear taller than normal. This is also known as the 16:9 mode.
Zoom mode Zoom mode evenly stretches the picture both horizontally and vertically, until the picture fills the entire width of the screen. This crops out the top and bottom of the picture. This mode is used for letterboxed and open matte video.
14:9 mode Main article: 14:9
In 14:9 mode, the picture is magnified more than in Normal mode, but less than in Zoom mode, while retaining the original aspect ratio.
Wide Zoom mode Wide Zoom mode, also called Just mode, Horizon, or Smart Stretch, progressively stretches the picture horizontally, less in the middle and more on the edges. This allows normal aspect ratio video to be displayed across the entire width of the screen, with minimal cropping, and with much less of the unpleasing visual stretching effect of Full mode.

No place to enter Roku activation code

  • Connect the Roku box to your television in accordance with the procedure outlined in your Roku box's manual.

  • Turn on your TVicon1.png, and change it to the input channel for your Roku box. Once you see the Roku box's welcome screen, press the "Select" button on your Roku box's remote control.

  • Select the type of network connectionicon1.png you have (wired or wireless) on the network screen, and provide the necessary information that applies to your network. Once a network connection is established, you should see the activation screen with an activation code.

  • Visit the Netflix activation website on your computer (www.netflix.com/activate) and log in to your account if asked to do so. Enter the activation code on your television screen into the text box on the activation page. The Roku box will now activate.

    Cannot set screen width

Both the TV and the Cable box have Aspect(height/width) settings. You must confirme the setting on the cable box and then do the TV.

    1. Set TV to Native, this should show image exactly as the cable box sends it.
    2. change Aspect settings on the cable box until you get one that works
    3. if you get a good one, then your OK. You will just need to find a setting between the 2 devices that work for you. Also, these settings may change automatically for the TV or cable box based on the channel
