I have LG refrigerator LSC27950, there is ice in the icemaker& when I press the lever I hear humming noise for water and clicking noise for ice, but no ice or water are dispensing?

The error code dH on your LG refrigerator is indicating a water supply problem. This could be caused by a few different issues:
  1. Clogged or frozen water line: The water line supplying the icemaker and water dispenser may be clogged or frozen. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Check the water line and make sure that it is not clogged or frozen.
  2. Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve that supplies water to the ice maker and dispenser may be faulty or clogged. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. You can check the water inlet valve and make sure it is functioning properly or if it is clogged.
  3. Water filter: A clogged water filter can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. If your refrigerator has a water filter, make sure that it is not clogged and has been replaced recently.
  4. Water pressure: If the water pressure is too low, it can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Make sure that the water pressure in your refrigerator is adequate.
You should first try to check the water line, water inlet valve, water filter, and water pressure. If none of these solutions work, please contact a professional technician or LG customer service to diagnose and fix the problem.

My ice maker is making a clicking sound on my sub zero 650

Do you have water connected? Was it working before?

Disconnect the power to the icemaker. Does the clicking stop. If it does it is the servo motor. Sub Zero are highly overengineered, you will need a technician. These days they fix with a laptop.

The ice maker is still working but has constant noise.

Thanks for your post, friend!

I see that you are experiencing some challenges with your Frigidaire refrigerator making a constant noise. Typically, you can have noises coming from your icemaker and they would be a normal operating sound. If it is a snap or click it could be the water valve calling for water. Additionally, the icemaker dropping ice into the bin can provide a loud noise as well. If you have your manual it lists normal operating noises. If you feel the noise is not normal I would recommend reaching out to a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Our GE side by side fridge isn't making ice. The arm in the ice maker starting clicking in the middle of the night and my husband just went into the freezer and held the arm up for a few seconds. The...

It sounds like you have a bad icemaker. Usually when the arm is clicking its the gears that are stripped out. Feel in the icemaker if theres cubes frozen in there then you know the icemaker is definitely bad. With the arm in the up position it will not make cubes at all that is the off position for the icemaker. Hope this helps _MJ_

Makes ice but is very slow to dispense and makes a load bumping noise

Turn off the water to the icemaker. Locate the plug from the icemaker to the freezer & disconnect it. There is usually 2 screws under the icemaker that mounts it to the freezer, remove them. Some may have a screw or 2 in the top also. these are only short sheetmetal screws. You should then be able to extract the icemaker, a short hose attatched to the icemaker will come out of the back of the freezer. When complete the freezer/frig will work fine. Thaw out the icemaker, drain the water out, inspect the rotating finger grate area for any objects. Shaking it upside down may help. Reinstall & test, if it doesn't work it is bad. You can take it to an appliance repair store to replace.

Sears Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - Loud humming noise

That sound is usually your icemaker calling for water. you can turn off your icemaker by lifting the little arm on the icemaker. As the icemaker calls for water the valve will be activated and will hum. This sound is usually not very loud. If your valve is making that much noise you may consider replacing the valve. The part number for you water inlet valve is #2315533 The retail price is $60.18 . I do have these on hand and available to ship out today if you need one. Please just let me know. You may also consider replacing your filter if your refrigerator has one. Thanks and I hope this will fixYa
