The proposed solution is to edit one registry item. Here is how you do it:
1) From the desktop right-click on the start icon and then click 'Run'
2) In the Run box type in 'regedit' without the quote marks and click OK
3) this will open Windows Registry Editor, now navigate to this path by clicking on the folders in the left hand panel: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
4) Once you have opened the system folder you should look down the list that appears in the main box to the right of the panel until you find an entry called EnableCursorSupression double click this entry
5) This will bring up a box that has a value data of 1. Change this to 0 and click OK
6)Close the registry Editor and restart your computer
Let us know if this solution Works, Thanks,

Photo impact pro as a software has compatibility requirements. For example, impact pro was invented during the times of windows Xp operating systems with Microsoft computers. Imply that, impact pro would hardly function with apple Mac computers. Since the Xp operating systems, computers have gone through design fronts of Windows Vista 1 & 2, and recently displaying Windows 7 on those acquired on the market over years ago. The most recent multimedia photo editor software's acquirable on the retail market have compartibilies with more recent computers. Alternately, performing a computer alteration may achieve installation capabilities. First, finding a computer still functioning on windows XP, millennium, 2000 or 1998 would make installation possible. However, sustain wearsomeness since windows 98 earlier years computers were least designed for multimedia capabilities as known with Photo Impact Pro 8.5. Second, a possibility of acquiring Windows Xp disk software on the retail market to replace the one on the computer would make impact pro installable. However like known of operating system software's, it is only possible to install the same operating system on an existing one on a computer as restoration purposes. If different software should be acquired like XP requesting installation on windows Vista or Windows 7, the entire hard disk drive has to be erased of media traces of the prior. Alerternately, a new operating system may be installed if only a new hard drive, memory cards were acquired to replace the prior on the computer to make possible installation of Photo Impact pro 8.5
