The proposed solution is to edit one registry item. Here is how you do it:
1) From the desktop right-click on the start icon and then click 'Run'

2) In the Run box type in 'regedit' without the quote marks and click OK

3) this will open Windows Registry Editor, now navigate to this path by clicking on the folders in the left hand panel: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

4) Once you have opened the system folder you should look down the list that appears in the main box to the right of the panel until you find an entry called EnableCursorSupression double click this entry

5) This will bring up a box that has a value data of 1. Change this to 0 and click OK

6)Close the registry Editor and restart your computer

    hmm well you try this:
    Mouse Properties -> pointer options.

    Unchecked "Enhance pointer precision

    checked "Display pointer trails"

    Unchecked "Hide pointer while typing"

checked "Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key"

I accidently installed windows 8 pro on my Acer aspire E 15 which already had windows 8.1. Now how do I restore my laptop back to its original windows 8.1?

Once you install other version of windows Operating system without formatting, your Operating System and files before would goes to drive C:\windows.old folder and you can backup your files there by opening users folder, but you cant restore your system to your old 8.1 version once you overwritten it ,But you can fix this by reformatting your laptop/netbook or desktop using your original 8.1 OS installer or contact your acer aspire distributor for genuine installer, but don't forget to backup your files at folder i mentioned above.

Photo impact pro as a software has compatibility requirements. For example, impact pro was invented during the times of windows Xp operating systems with Microsoft computers. Imply that, impact pro would hardly function with apple Mac computers. Since the Xp operating systems, computers have gone through design fronts of Windows Vista 1 & 2, and recently displaying Windows 7 on those acquired on the market over years ago. The most recent multimedia photo editor software's acquirable on the retail market have compartibilies with more recent computers. Alternately, performing a computer alteration may achieve installation capabilities. First, finding a computer still functioning on windows XP, millennium, 2000 or 1998 would make installation possible. However, sustain wearsomeness since windows 98 earlier years computers were least designed for multimedia capabilities as known with Photo Impact Pro 8.5. Second, a possibility of acquiring Windows Xp disk software on the retail market to replace the one on the computer would make impact pro installable. However like known of operating system software's, it is only possible to install the same operating system on an existing one on a computer as restoration purposes. If different software should be acquired like XP requesting installation on windows Vista or Windows 7, the entire hard disk drive has to be erased of media traces of the prior. Alerternately, a new operating system may be installed if only a new hard drive, memory cards were acquired to replace the prior on the computer to make possible installation of Photo Impact pro 8.5

Where to find Acer Aspire 4715z driver for Windows 7?

Acer aspire 4715z does support Microsoft windows 7 but Acer doesn't release any driver till date. so, it's almost impossible to get the driver for windows 7.

but there's a way to work out.

just download the driver for windows vista using the link below

http://www.acer.com.au/acer/service.do;jsessionid=4CABD6FF9BC3961EF92EA7451A95FC04.public_a_14c?LanguageISOCtxParam=en&miu10einu24.current.attN2B2F2EEF=3112&sp=page15e&ctx2.c2att1=92&miu10ekcond13.attN2B2F2EEF=3112&CountryISOCtxParam=AU&ctx1.att21k=1&CRC=3559666452

Follow this step
Select Product Family : Notebook
Select Product Line     : Aspire
Select Product Model  : Aspire 4715z

All the driver will be listed below, by default the driver listed is for microsoft windows vista Home premium.

Download all the drivers that you need.

Now, install those driver meant for windows Vista in windows 7, Most of them or all of them will work as 90% of the driver meant for windows vista works fine with windows 7.

Now, make sure you have internet  access through a LAN or wireless network.

Download "Driver genius pro" using the link below

http://rapidshare.com/files/270454654/Driver.Genius.Pro.9.0.0.180_by.tano1221.rar.html

Install the software and let it update.
This software has a huge database of drivers and I'm very sure you will get the latest drivers for the operating system i.e windows 7 in your case from the chipset manufacturer sites directly through this software.

It will most probably solve the drivers problem.

I have acer aspire laptop purchased from dabs feb 2007 hard drive crashed 2 weeks out of warranty, i have put in new hard drive, how much would it cost to puirchase the discs for operating system serial...

Hi,

If your Aspire laptop has a Microsoft sticker at the bottom with the Product Key, it is not necessary for you to re-purchase CD installer of the Operating System. You could try borrowing from friends their XP Pro CD installers or even an OEM and simply use that. When asked for the CD key, use what is printed in the aforementioned sticker.

As long as the motherboard/entire machine is not replaced, then this would be an acceptable alternative. Should you still wish to purchase an Windows XP Pro SP2 installer CD, it would roughly cost USD 60.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
