Hello, I'm sorry but this error code has nothing to do with charger or memory card error as indicated below, and it won't be fixed by re-initializing the device. The official list of error codes can be found at https://www.sony.com.au/electronics/support/articles/00008857 : E:62:10 is a very well known and recurring problem with a lot of Sony camera's and indicates failure of the stabilizer. I found more than 300 forums discussing the problem, please read http://sony-e-62-10.tk/. A temporary solution is available on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S53D3EfDVk0. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H1 Digital camera that will not hold a battery charge

Aparently you have to use sony batteries with a sony charger. I have the same problem and have been trying different batteries because I thought what's the difference with batteries as long as they are rechargeable? I spoke with a guy at the sony store and he told me to use sony batteries with the sony charger I have. Don't know if he's talking BS or not but I'll give it a shot and see if it will hold a longer battery life. When I bought the camera it was great but now it dies really fast! I'll let you know how things turn out! Until then, if anybody else has a suggestion let us know so we can enjoy our H1's!

SOURCE: When I switch it on,

Hello and Welcome to Fixya
C:13:01 memory stick error message indicates a Self diagnostic message. In C:13:01 the issue may be with the Internal Memory or with the Memory Stick.
To solve it try the following solutions

Format error with the Internal Memory which can be corrected by formatting the Internal Memory.
If it is issue with memory stick then turning the power off and on again or taking out and inserting the "Memory Stick" several times may help in resolving the issue. Error may be because of Unformatted "Memory Stick" which can be resolved by formatting the Memory Stick in the Camera If it not remove by formatting in the camera then connect it to PC and tried to format it again but either FAT instead of FAT32 which is the regular format and then reinserted the memory stick and formatted it with the camara. Now it will be solved if it still exist then it means Memory Stick is broken or not compatible which can be resolved by inserting a new compatible Memory stick
I hope it will help you
Your Rating as Four Thumbs which are given below to this solution will appreciate me
Thanks

Sorry, but this is not user-fixable.

If the lens has not been dropped or misused, then send it to Sony for repair, it may even be under warranty. If they find evidence of accidental damage or misuse then they will send you a repair estimate and you can decide whether to go ahead or to buy a replacement. You might decide to buy a used replacement, but bear in mind that there will be no warranty and you cannot absolutely know the usage history of that lens. Pre-owned Sony lenses and cameras are often not a good choice as they are built to keep costs down rather than for durability.

When you get the repaired lens back then test it thoroughly and use it very regularly for a few months. I have found that Sony official camera repairs are not always to the highest standard and if you uncover a faulty or careless repair a few months after they return it to you they usually try to wash their hands of the problem.

My pictures are coming out blur

With digital cameras, blurred photos are almost always a result of camera shake. You need to hold the camera still even after pressing the button, as there is often a short delay before the shutter fires.

Many digital cameras have a two-stage shutter press- first pressure causes the camera to focus, then the follow through pressure takes the picture. If you are rushing this, you may get unfocussed shots.

Finally, make sure that you have not left the camera in Macro mode. This is a special extreme close-up mode offered by some cameras, and it does not allow autofocus on objects at normal distances. The icon for Macro mode is a little flower.

My problem is blurry photos. Problem occurs when taking pictures over a few feet away. I have tried manual focus, with no improvement. The pictures are blurry but I don't think it's a focus problem. No...

You haven't switched the camera to "macro" mode by any chance? Flash should eliminate camera shake as the source of the problem. If it isn't macro mode, then it sounds like a fault requiring the repair shop.

Camera wont focus

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

DSC-W1 Focus Problems

Try taking some flash pictures (in fairly good light) in Manual Mode @ 1/500sec to rule that out though. Use "Center" or "Spot" autofocus. If you don't have a tripod, then use the self timer for these tests. If camera shake can be ruled out, and the camera has focusing problems even in bright light, then that unit is trashed. Sorry to hear that the Sony service center couldn't fix it right the first time. Demand a replacement.

DSC-F717 autofocus stops working

I was first going to also suggest a reset. Does your manual focus function correctly from near to far(turning the focus ring in manual) and does the wide to tele motion function fully and smoothly? (lens adjustability without restriction) Was your camera exposed to extreme heat or elements?(beach sand or water of any kind) It may mean electronics only or a mechanical restriction causing an electronic malfunction. A last resort may mean your closer documenting when or how frequent it happens and maybe ultimately a trip (for your camera) to Sony. Get a price quote for repair since you might strike a happy medium of using the camera differently (manually focussing) without exceeding the value of the camera for repair costs.

DSC-S75 focusing problems...

Without seeing a photo, here are a few possibilities. 1) Shutter speed too low (camera shake). 2) Camera is focusing on something in the foreground. 3) Focus not locked, low light, low contrast scene. Items 2 and 3 can be corrected by manual focus. Set the focus to 1 click below infinity, depth of field will insure everything is in focus. For item 1 remember that the shutter speed must be 1/125 sec or faster at full zoom to avoid camera shake.
