Unable to keep battery door closed.

There is a battery in the remote.If the battery gets old the remote will stop working.Replace the battery and check.Also if your battery is new but still the problem is there then,try to open the garage door by keeping less distance between remote as well as the garage door.Also there is a sensor in the garage door.If that sensor is not functioning then this can be one issue.In some cases the internal remote circuit gets short,in that case the remote needs replacement.But does the garage door sensor light shows any sign of getting connection from remote when you press the remote button.Open the door and try to close the door with remote and check.As per the problem,in most cases its weak battery related problem,and replacing the battery solves the problem.You can try all the possibilities and see which one helps.Thanks.Helpmech.

Hi,

Check whether your batteries are actually making contact with the battery posts, and that these posts are clean. If not, bend the posts up/down a little, and maybe clean them with a little rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip.
The next thing to try is examine both the battery and flash card door. There's usually a little switch on both doors (note some SD card doors do not have this switch) that activates when the doors are closed. If they don't, the camera won't start to prevent damage to the flash card or camera startup sequence. For most cameras its usually a little piece of plastic on the door that pushes in on a pin switch when the door is closed. Closely examine both doors to try to identify these switches. A lot of times that little plastic nib wears down or breaks off, but can easily be jury rigged with a small glued-on replacement.
If you've tried all of the above and still no luck, the problem is then likely to be internal to the camera. One example would be that if your camera uses Compact Flash, check to make sure all pins are present and aligned in the card slot (if bent, simply unbend/straighten them with a skinny "jewelers" screwdriver, then insert the flash card for final realignment).

Key batteries completely discharged. Key batteries not replaced within 60 seconds. Key added or replaced. DO NOT press remote control buttons during battery replacement.

Unlock vehicle. Enter vehicle. Close driver's door. Switch ignition ON and OFF. Remove ignition key. Press and hold unlock button Fig. 1 [1]. Press lock button Fig. 1 [2] briefly 3 times within 10 seconds keeping unlock button [1] depressed. Release unlock button Fig. 1 [1]. Some models: LED Fig. 1 [3] flashes slowly for 10 seconds. Some models: Central locking system locks and unlocks rapidly to indicate correct programming. Some models: Repeat above procedure if central locking system does not work and LED does not flash or LED flashes continuously

To change batteries remove panel back of key then screws on plastic bar
Batteries are available from your local motor factor shop
You might not need new batteries try re programing as described above

From User Guide: Interference from a similar unit operating nearby: a) simply remove the batteries from the push button and door chime units and rest for 10 seconds, this will erase memory b) Insert the batteries into the push button and door chime units, the door chime unit will give 2-beeps to indicate that it is ready for the new registration code. Press the Push Button once, it will generate a new operation code randomly and send a wireless ignal to the door chime unit and it will sound to indicate that new operation code is registered and memorised.
(Note with this unit SX85R the door chime is mains powered, not battery powered, but above instructions are the same)

it might be because of the switch at the closing door have broken
so check that switch
iif the problem still arises try reinstalling the software

Ok,Remove the papercover tray, if you look just above the paper tray you will see the scanner,close the scanner by pushing it upwards,and then your problem will be solved.

The seal on your door may not be sealing properly, when you close the door the seal helps create a vacuum which keeps your door closed firmly, you might need to replace the door seal, you could also try leveling your fridge by putting shimmys underneath the feet, you might also want to check to make sure there is nothing sticking out of your fridge such as drawers or food racks that may keep the door from closing all the way. good luck.
