Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Sounds as iff the firmware is corrupt best to download the most recent firmware to a usb memory stick from the PlayStation network
Turn off your console then hold down the on button for a few seconds you will hear one beep then a second beep it will turn it self off
From the off position hold the button again and you will hear one beep then two beeps together release the button you will then have to press the PS button on you controller and a menu will appear you want the last option to update you firmware. Depending on you TV I have to switch it backwards and forward a couple of time through the AV channel for the TV to pick up the PS3
Now just follow the screens but beware if it is that your firmware has become corrupt then it will ask you to format you console hard drive meaning you will lose your saved data.
You also have other option from this screen to set factory defaults etc
If this has been any help to you a rating would be great
