A electrician is one answer or some people replace it themself but you have to be careful as the capacitors store a charge & even if it is unplugged it can shock you.

Sharp cv-10nh not cooling

I wouldn't recommend servicing this yourself unless you are an air conditioner repair person by trade. If the unit is five years old or less Sharp covers the parts-----you pay the labor for the repair. There is a manufacture code on the unit that will indicate when it was made anyways if you don't have your original bill of sale. If the unit is within its first five years of life you would need to take it to a Sharp authorized service center. If you do not have a receipt you will need to get a proof of purchase letter from Sharp. If the unit is older than five years you can take it to any repair person but it might be cheaper to purchase another unit.

Need wiring schematics for Haier HWR12XC5 AC

My friend ... you are doing a simple repair ... you don't need a wiring schematic to replace this power cord. When you get the unit open ... you will find the other end of the ripped cord ... black goes to black, white goes to white green goes to green or ground. In fact ... you will trim the end of the cord and reattach it using either crimp connectors or wire nuts.

Air conditioner has no power at all to turn it on

No, I doubt its a problem with the plug. I don't want to direct you into the wiring so lets try this . Rotate the thermostat control or if buttons alternately press the on and off buttons several times. If its a dial turn turn it several times then stop at lowest temp setting. Do the same to all the controls. This helps to clean the contacts on the controls. I don't know of any air conditioner that has a reset or breaker incorporated in its electrical.Takthere is any humming. The Fan should at least turn. If not, then someone will need to check to see where the power ends. Try the control cleaning a few times. Let me know if you will please. One more thing, Pull on the power cord and see if it is securely held in place, if not, Look closely where it passes through the cabinet to detect if the cord was pulled on. then check for any signs of kinking or crimping. The power cord itself may have been damaged somehow. Make sure all the prongs are tight . It has happened wher the cord on a unit being carried got caught on something and having hands full, It was jerked on to free it. Can't rule that out.. Good luck and stay in touch.

Amana model #AH123A35MA Air conditioner thur the wall

I may be wrong, but I'm going to step out on a limb by telling you that I think there is a recall on this power cord. Now don't hold me to it because it could be a different brand. So, with that said, I would contact the manufacture and double check plus on the website will be authorized service centers and they will be able to get the cord for you.
