The command to generate the 12VDC; from the power supply should come from the main board. S the main board should be troubleshooted in this case. you need to check weather the power supply has complete output dc voltages 5v stand by, 5v detect 12v-16v for audio and tuner and 24v for back light. if just only an stand by voltage, the cause is either the power supply failed or the main board detect an error in the inverter board .

Philips 37PF3321/10 At first the pictures were on and off but now there is no pictures. Sound remains perfect.

The problem might on on your inverter board or the back light is busted.

1.Check for the input supply of the inverter board. the supply must be 24V of 12V use a multimeter range on DC

2.Then if you have input voltage (24V or 12V), check for the output of the inverter board it should have 500VDC.

3. If the output is present , the problem might be on the back light. Replace it, its available on electronic shop.

Hope this may help you

Hello, I have an LG LCD TV Model : 37LC2RR-2L, I can get sound on th tv, the screen is on but no image appears.

You're backlight inverter is faulty.

You first need to check your power supply and ensure you have 24v output to the backlight inverter.

If you lack the 24v you will need to replace capacitors in-line to the 24v rail to get power back to your backlight inverter.
Look for these:

If your 24v is OK then you will need a replacement inverter to restore your picture to your tv.

Best of luck!
