I have nokia 5130c-2 ,now i want to do factory data reset ,it doesn't accept 12345

The default Security code is 12345.

If you changed it and forgot the security code please contacts your device dealer. They will provide you the default security code so that you can use your phone.

This security lock prevents thieves from being able to make use of stolen handsets that is why it can only be unlocked by authorized device dealers.

Thank You

I forgot the code for unlocking keypad of nokia 1600

your looking for the security code.
(default 12345)
if you change it? then you need to get your phone reflashed.
So it'll accept the default code (12345) then change it again to a code you can easily remember.

Sir/madam, i have got a nokia 1200 with airtel connection. now if i want to change my sim,it is asking for security code. my imei no is 356408029169229

If you havent changed the security or havent even touched the settings, it should be the default code 12345, if the phone does not accept that code, the code have been changed and you need to have the code reset to 12345 or be read, by a repair shop.

I tried to restore factory setting in my mobile but the code 12345 is not accepting, is there any master code?

To restore any nokia phone to it's original state, it will ask for a security code, and the default security code for all nokia phones is 12345 except you or someone else have changed it. If the phone is not accepting 12345 as the code, it means it has been change. If you cannot recollect the new code. then you have to unlock the other way through the use of your imei number which can be found behind the battery in the phone. Take your phone to a mobile phone technician to unlock it with the use of the imei number.

I forgot my security code for my nokia 5310 and my fone wont go on unless i have a security code.

I have seen a few posts asking "What is my security code?". So I thought I would make this post. Basically most Nokia phones all use the same security code by default, this is 12345. All phones are set with this code from the factory and will stay using 12345 until it is changed.

If you have changed your security code from 12345 then you would normally need to take your phone into a Nokia Service Point. Here an authorised engineer would reset the code back to its default of 12345. You can find your nearest Nokia Service Point on this page:

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done other than visit an engineer if you forget the security code, they will need to reset the code to the factory default for you.

If your phone was provided to you by your network operator, will not accept the code 12345, and you are certain that you have not changed it, then it is worth checking the product information label on the box before you go for the Care Point option, just in case.

In these cases, the security code will be shown on the product information label on the box, usually close to the IMEI number. This number is not always marked as a security code.

Security code

The default security code for nokia is 12345, if you enter an incorrect security code five times in a row your nokia phone will not accept the correct code for the next five minutes, if you forgot your security code you will have to contact your service provider to see if they can reset your nokia.

Security code on mobile phone

Hi. The default security code is 12345. The unlock code generated from your IMEI is 7156742262. I'm afraid if this doesn't work you will have to take the phone to a Nokia dealer to be reset to the default. Hope this helps.

There's a Security Code and Lock Code.

Resetting the Lock Code:
Remove the battery and replace it after 1 hour or more. The default Lock Code should reset to "1234". If that doesn't work try the last four of your phone number.

Resetting the Security Code:
The default Security Code is 12345. If this doesn't work go to your normal interface and type in "#3001*12345*. Go to the Security option, write down the number, then press "Ok". Back out of it all and it should take you back to your normal phone interface. The number your found should be your security code.
