My elna 7000 sewing machine speed all of a sudden is very slow, does not work in reverse, or does not want to make any stiches? What can be wrong?

Looks like this is a mechanical machine. If so, bet it needs a good cleaning and oiling. The following may be helpful:

It was working now it seems to be frozen the needle part wont move

Definitely get some good quality sewing machine oil. Sounds like the machine has basically seized, including the stitch selectors.

Machine will not engage in any other stiches except straight stiches

Remove the power cord then plug the unit back in. This should fix the problem.

I have a White 2037. The tension seems to be off. Small stiches then a large large space

Rethread the machine and change the needle. IF that doesn't do the trick then your timing needs to be adjusted.

Sewing machine not making stiches

At first, my machine was getting all tangled under the fabric and then would stop working because it was tangled in the bobbin area. Now the bobbin area is staying clear but there are no stiches being made. I have no idea what to do. [email protected]
