my PS2 does not play,games,dvd.it only play compact disc(music).WEN I INSERT A PS2 DISC,IT SAYS DISC ERRA.I HAVE TRIED CLEANING IT WITH A LENS CLEANER DISC BUT IT DID NOT WORK.

try the disk on another console first m8 if that works the chances are you need to buy a new dvd rom for your unit the laser only have limited play time on theese consoles b4 they start to fail to read disk's all games systems are the same
