Hampton Bay ceiling fan quit working. No lights, no fan operation at any setting. Replaced remote battery and checked dip switches for correct position. Wall switch is on and has power through it (c

IIt sounds like there is not power to it, so it could be a loose wire nut on the "hot" side of the circuit inside the fan junction box. That's going to be a pain to get to. If you have power there and the connection is faulty, that's the problem. If you have power there and the connections are good it should operate manually without the remote. If not, I would suspect the fan is DOA.

Fan won't quit running, even after shutting breaker off to entire unit and powering back up.

There is a thermal sensor usually under the top panel that controls the cooling fan. You can check it for continuity or just pull a wire off and power it up. If the fan stops running then this could be the problem. There also could be a stuck relay on the control board. lets hope it is the thermal sensor.

Fan is noisy intermittently well after wash is finished

It depends on what model you have. The fan is usually operating when the dry cycle is on. The dry cycle can be quite long compared to the actual wash (which ends when the rinse water is drained out). The dry cycle uses the steam in the dishwasher to circulate around the dishes. The fan keeps running until the full cycle is complete. If you are hearing heavy noises when the fan is running, then the bearing of the fan maybe damaged and you need to replace the fan.

Fisher Paykel GWL10 US quit after filling with water. The lights all blink, but cycles will not advance. We had to manually remove all the water. Tried unplugging and plugging back in to no avail.

Hi just read your posting. Now from the information in your posting the machine will fill and wash but not drain the water,Is this correct? Please look under the machine to the front right and you should see a black fan. This is your pump.Turn this fan clockwise and anticlockwise a few times to loosen it.The fan should turn freely.Put the machine back on its feet and select a spin cycle and see if it drains. Please reply on how you got on and for further help.Looking forward to your reply.

Evap fan stops running/low cooling, Unplug Frig Evap fan runs

Is there anything obstructing the fan area, ice build up ? It is normal for your freezer to get warm if evap fan is not working, it is essential for it to work :) A defrost cycle should kick on a timer or as needed (adaptive) and there should not be excessive frost buildup that it blocks your evap fan. I would have suggested you unplug your refrigerator for about 10 minutes and see if that resets your control board - if not, then you will need service - either replacing motor assembly or a faulty control board.
