I HAVE A HP DESKTOP 2050 PRINT SCAN COPY MACHINE AND EVERY SO OFTEN IT WOULD DO AS IF IT WANTS TO PULL THE PAPER AND PRINT BUT IT DOESN'T DO IT. WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH IT?

My HP deskjet 2050 all-in-one printer only shoots out blank paper and won't print. It used to say there was no paper in it, which there was. It scans & prints just fine - just won't print...

Any error messages on the printer digital screen or the desktop? I take it the "The ink is fine" means that there is ink in the cartridges!

Try a test print via the Control Panel> Printers and Faxes> properties > Print test page.

make sure the glass is clean it sounds like you either have a dirty scan glass or the wires need to be cleaned there should be a cleaner on the front cover of the macin that you you pull out and slide back abd fourth to clean it

Red and blue marks on copies

The CS 2050 is a mono color (black only) copier. There is nothing within this machine that I have EVER seen that has red and blue "ink" in it. I suggest you look at the paper that is in the tray itself. I have been on many service calls where the customer said the copier was tearing off a diagonal corner of the page, or the copier was putting something on the page that it was not capable of doing. When I looked at the paper in the tray I would find that the paper itself had the defect before it ever even went through the machine. Since there is 500 sheets per ****, and you may only see it on every 20th or 30th copy, you will have to either just try a new **** or go through whats in there 1 sheet at a time looking at both sides. But, if you find something that has blue and red ink within this machine please let me know.

How could i make a duplex copy, where do i have to go

Duplexor printing is the only feature which HP All-In-One printer offers, where you can print in both sides of the paper from your computer if you have multiple pages to print.

But SORRY you cannot make a duplex copy on the stand alone machine itself.

But still you can scan and print the same on the duplexor.

For Scanning Multiple pages in one Folder:

All you need to do is if the All-In-One Printer driver and software is completly installed in your computer, Then you should have a icon in your desktop as HP Solution Center / Go to
Start> All Programs> HP> HP Solution Center>
Then click on Scan document> The in the option where it says Where do you want to send the scanned documents> Click on the drop down and select PDF / Word then make syre you
have selected Show preivew Box> Then click On Scan>
After it shows the preivew> Click on I Accept> NOW IT WILL ASK IF YOU WANT TO SCAN ANOTHER DOCUMENT> Click yes on this and replace the document> and the click on
NEW SCAN> and follow the same steps to scan multiple pages, till you have finished scanning all and then> When it asks if you want to scan another document> Click on No.

And then print the same through the duplexor
