just got my car back from reparier and the radio says 'code' and won;t operate. found a code number in the car manual, but it has an 8 and a 7 in it and the numbers on the buttons only go frrom 1 - 6. how do you enter the numbers?? can anyone help??

Receiver is a Clarion cassette radio. not usre of the modfel. no model number visible on front panel. it is the genuine Mitsubishi-fitted audio system.

where would i find a model number?? it is one of the removable ones, but i can't see how to pull it out.

Hi I had the same problem for my clarion but through many frustrated attempts have worked it out you hold down the clk button till you get a 0 onto the computer screen then you start to type the first number of your code using the find seek button on the radio clicking clk between each number hope this helps
