The white smoke can indicate oil consumption. Was there a mixture in the gasoline? If not tthe piston rings may be affected. Also avoid gas-Ethanol mix which attracts humidity, turning into water.

Blowing white smoke out of exhaust

sounds like it is still overfilled ,, oil is leaking on the back side of the piston .. or may be a blown head gasket and being overfilled was just a coincidence if it is a briggs motor I would be suspect of a head gasket.

Mower will start but blows lots of white smoke and dies when throttle is moved to full

sounds like to much oil but you say the oil level is fine. you may want to check the compression on the head to see if the head gasket is blown. if there is a lot of smoke or oil blowing out the oil tube, that is a sign of blown head gasket.

The engine sputter and dies after running for about 2 minutes.

I had this puzzler too! Turned out the problem is caused by the fuel-bowl needle valve. It may look OK but looks are deceiving. It gets a coating on the tip that causes a poor seal ... poor enough to allow fuel to flood the engine after a short run time. The flooded engine dies, but restarts OK after a delay that clears (cooks off) the excess fuel that flooded/killed the engine. SOLUTION: Remove the needle valve and carefully wipe and clean the tip with a white cloth soaked in solvent (gas is OK). The cloth will show the deposits that cause the problem. Carefully re-install the needle valve and float parts, start the engine, confirm that it runs OK and continuously. Simple fix .... puzzling problem.

White smoke coming out of mower

It sounds as though you are losing power (electrical power); see if charging the battery fully allows it to run longer or if charging the battery helps.

MY Kawasaki FH500V commercial lawn mower engine won't start.

Try cleaning the throttle body. If it runs on carb-cleaner being sprayed into the intake then you have a fuel delivery problem, if not you'd be more inclined to more serious mechanical failure. I assume if you use it every day you do the regular oil changes, air filter cleaning, and air-cooling system cleaning, correct? Please indicate if you had a white smoke, blue smoke, or black smoke from the mower too. The motor spins freely when attempting to start, and just doesn't fire, correct?

Start cord snaps back without mower starting

1.Check the plug for spark
2.Try a quick quirk of starting fluid to see if it runs. If it starts and dies then it is likely a fuel delivery problem.
3.   Check the shear key under the flywheel . Usually when it snaps back like. that the key is starting to shear which in turn would throw the timing off slightly.

LTX1000 42" 18HP Kohler - Blowing fuse after 2-4 min mowing.

sounds as though you are on the right track
but be sure to check the wiring directly from the electric clutch on the front of the motor back to the switch
a wire could be pinched in the frame and shorting out intermittingly
look around and find those wires and move them around and look for chaffing and tightness
and what you could also do is to unhook the clutch at the connection to it at the front of the motor and engage switch and ride around and see if fuse blows and if not you may have an electric clutch issue
