Question about Amana Washing Machines
My husband did not read the directions for installing an Amana front load washing machine. I feel damage may have been done because the shipping bolts were not taken out and the washer was used three times already. Is it ruined? Sales person told me it was and that I would need to get a new one. Help me.
I would take out the shipping bolts and then run a prgram such as Spin.with no clothes in
If that sounds ok, wet a few towels and spin them dry
If that works put a full load in and go for it
Unless your machine was way out of balance you should not really have damaged anything.
The transit bolts are there to stop the drum from banging around during transit and unless they have torn free or have bent you should be ok
