Question about IBM Tripp Lite OfficePro 700 (10K1912) UPS System
We have an UPS at home. With external Exide batteries. Frequently one electrician was coming and pouring distilled water into that. Nowadays he is not coming. We have bought distilled water. We don't know how to open the battery and pour the water. Please guide us to do this
Yes well first of all u hav to check out is refillable battery...
if its refillable then u hav to check out lids and open them with the help of coin and put appropirate quantity of acid...
and make sure its diatilled water not pure pure acid...

I would only recommend doing this if you were familiar with that type of battery. I would recommend purchasing sealed batteries that do not require that type of maintenance which is much safer. They last for 3-6 years and can be found at http://www.batteryinternational.com/ups-batteries.html
