My Cleaner keeps stopping, if i move it along abit it starts again or if i briefly remove the hose from filter box it starts, seems to have too much suction and gets stuck on the pool floor

If you think that your pool cleaner has got too much suction, you need to use the included water flow gauge to test the water pressure. If it is MAX or higher than the indicated minimum, you will need to get a regulator valve from Hayware (V094). This will reduce your water flow.

I have a 10 gal Shop-vac, approximately 5 years old, which I use occasionally to vacuum water in my basement. Although rated 10 gallons, the unit has never filled up more than about halfway, before...

This is good information to know.
I didn't know there was a vacuum limit for water.
Today, we no longer re-wind motors when they slow up or get weak, we just throw them in landfill and import another from China.
After 5 years, motors get weak, simply because they are made to run hot.
And Shop-vac motors are not industrial grade.
Put hand over exhaust and feel the heat.
Heat is the enemy of motors, and the more load, the hotter the motor gets.

My bissell pro heat 2X has stopped dispensing water from the tank, the suction is working and it seems to be dispensing the detergent, so it is not rinsing or washing with water. I have cheaked to see if...

I have a Proheat 2X and had the same problem. I tried the Water Rinse setting and found water came out and was suctioned properly, but on the Light Clean, Normal Clean, and Heavy Traffic settings, the unit failed to do anything. Problem may be with leaving the soap dispenser in-place, which might scum up the tubing.

SO, an alternative to throwing out my unit and buying something else was to put one capful of the Bissell soap in the water resevoir and keep the unit on Water Rinse. IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY NOW. Don't know if this will help, but at least I didn't have to buy a new unit. Rinse everything after using and there's been no problem.

S5N27B keeps stopping mid cycle

If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:---
Water-heating cycle Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows: On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time. On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too. Timer Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

Seems the AC is freezing up after about 30 or 40 minutes. After it unfreezes, it will work fine for another 30 or 40 minutes. I believe that the freon levels are correct.

If you have ice accumulating on the evaporator, there should be no air blowing out the registers because the air will be stopped at the evaporator.
If this is happening, the a/c is not cycling on and off as often as it should. At 70 degrees F, it should cycle on and off about 4 times/minute. Less when hotter.

If not cycling off at all, replace the screw-in pressure switch on top of the accumulator under the hood near the fire wall on passenger side.

report results of test.

The A/C cycling switch is mounted on a Schrader valve-type fitting on the suction accumulator/driver.
  • A valve depressor, located inside the threaded end of the A/C cycling switch, presses in on the Schrader valve stem.
  • This allows the suction or low side pressure to control the operation of the A/C cycling switch.
  • The electrical switch contacts open when the suction pressure drops. The contacts close when the suction pressure rises. For specifications regarding operating pressure(s), refer to Section 412-00 .
  • When the A/C cycling switch contacts close, the A/C clutch field coil is energized.
  • When the A/C cycling switch contacts open, the A/C clutch field coil is de-energized and compressor operation stops.
  • The A/C cycling switch will control the A/C evaporator core pressure at a point where the plate/fin surface temperature will be maintained slightly above freezing.
  • This prevents icing of the A/C evaporator core and blockage of airflow.
  • It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant system to remove the A/C cycling switch.

The timer seems to have gone out on you. Try to manually set it on spin and if that works then the timer is out.

Rainbow vacuum-water not spinning

Remove hose and turn on the unit with nothing on the intake - see if it helps - feel the suction with hand.

a) If it works fine without the hose - look for a clog in the hose, wand or the nozzle

b) If the suction is weak even without the hose:
Clean the separator,
If this is e-series or E2 Rainbow - remove HEPA and try vacuuming without it (sometimes it is too dirty so stops good airflow). New HEPAs HERE.
If this is SE Rainbow - remove exhaust cap and if there is a sponge - take it out

Still no luck - It has to be serviced

Good Luck,
Rocky

Constant on-off cycle

If the unit is freezing up I suggest replacing the sensor assembly. Just replaced mine because the thermistor that is on the suction line went bad and would not send the reversing valve into defrost.
