How do i page/intercom all phones on the network at once using an NEC ETW 8E 1A.
All other phones on the network are also NEC ETW series phones. I know there is a code/combination of keys to enter, but can't find any answers in the manuals online.
This mentions it, but pressing 5 9 doesn't do anythinghttp://au.nec.com/en_AU/media/docs/XEN_A...This mentions it, but pressing 5 9 doesn't do anything http://au.nec.com/en_AU/media/docs/XEN_Axis_Master_Feature_Specs_Manual-fd3e877e-6be0-424d-a2f7-eb01c563f053-0.pdf

To use a headset with the NEC etw-16dc-2, you should plug the RJ9 connector into the headset jack on the back of the phone. Once you have connected the headset, you will need to activate it for use by pressing the Headset key, which is typically located on the bottom row of keys on the phone. If there is no specific Headset key on your phone, you can try pressing the Speaker key to activate the headset. If you are still unable to use the headset, you may need to check the settings on your phone to ensure that the headset is enabled and configured correctly.
There is a last number redial button(LNR), for the very last number u dialed. Or u can use Save and Repeat function when u dial a number u plan to use again.
If your main system cabinet (in some closet somewhere) is plastic, you have the NEC Electra Professional Level I system and the DND cancel procedure is <FNC>, 60, <FNC> when the phone is idle.
If your main system cabinet is metal, you have the NEC Electra Professional Level II system and the DND cancel procedure is <FNC>, 69, <FNC> when the phone is idle. You can also press "42" while hearing intercom dial tone. The most common cause of accidentally setting DND is by dialing "40" while hearing intercom dial tone (Level II system). There is a slim chance your main system is not the Electra Professional series. If either of the above do not work, let me know.
The telephone instrument you have can be used on the NEC Electra Professional Level I, and the Level II systems (and under some conditions the NEAX 2000 series). Codes for features are somewhat different based on the system. It is possible that your phone is in "Do-Not-Disturb" if other phones on your system actually ring when they are called via the intercom (on the Level I and Level II systems, initial intercom ring is a system wide setting). The cancel DND code is:
Level I system: with telephone idle, press <FNC>, dial 60, press <FNC>.
Level II system: with telephone idle, press <FNC>, dial 69, press <FNC>.
It is also possible that your ring volume is very low. To adjust, press <SPKR>, dial 601, then adjust volume using the up/down keys at the bottom of the phone (press <SPKR> when finished.
If your system is programmed to access an outside line when you press <SPKR>, you will need to press the <INTERCOM> button first.)
If your system is set for voice intercom, people calling your phone can make it ring by dialing a "1" after your intercom number.
If you do all this and your phone still won't ring on incoming calls, let me know and we'll have to go into system programming to correct it.
I have found that it depends on the lenth of the cable. if you have one cable that is say... 100m Long and the other is like 20m long you may get interfearance on the long one and cause the handset to not work. if you had like 2 x 30 M cables as long as you only had one handset plugged in at a time it might work and i stress might.
If the person you are trying to reach is speaking to another internal extension, none of the outside lines will show in use. If their phone is not Call-Forwarded to any other extension (i.e. second extension or VM), you will get a busy.
