Good afternoon I have a Ford Territory 2005 model and the drivers door won’t open from inside or outside, I’ve tried using the key but still the same. I was told the central locking actuator could be...

Most doors have a Mechanical set up to allow you to unlock it with a flat battery in the fob or the car itself. There should be a key slot in or near the handle to unlock that door. The slot is sometime hidden behind a trim cover on the handle itself.
If the actuator is faulty it could be stuck in the locked position. Sit next to the car and put your ear to the door panel. Use the key remote to lock and unlock the door and listen. If the actuator is working you should hear a clear 'Clunk' noise every time you use the fob.

Cannot open passenger door with the remote and the manual key but can lock. only the drivers door opens.

The central locking is faulty on the passenger door it's a common problem on the E90 models you need to renew the latch which contains the central locking actuator

Just got a ford ka as the ford ka got cental locking

Hello,

Yes the ford has a central locking system, you can do that with your remote, and can do it when inside the car, the button is by the door which is at the driver side. You will see the central lock button, but central lock wont work if a door is open.

Take care and good luck

Central Locking not working

Hi Craig,
I'm running a E34 Tds Touring with a similar problem, my rear doors and tailgate have dropped of the central locking circuit.
I have been told it is the Central locking Module a large black box under the dash that is faulty, apparently a common problem.
Hope this points you in the right direction,
Please remember to rate my effort!
