Question about Sony Televison & Video
Hello there, unfortunately there is no possible way to unlock either of the players that you have. I have even checked to see if there is a hardware chip option of unlocking the units and there is not.
I am so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is not possible with the two units you have. Your computer should be able to play the DVD fine if anything. Unfortunately to watch it on your TV you will either need another DVD player that can be (or already is) unlocked, or a home theater PC attached to your TV that can play it.
I am so sorry about this.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, I have checked every possible way and there is no option to unlock these units.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
