Hello,
I have added a comment to Mr. KrishMaqVan's answer/reply
but unfortunately was not replied to in view of this very important comment.
So, firstly, Thank you very much Mr. KrishMaqVan
for answering speedily and in detail my original help request question.
Here is my comment added to Mr. KrishMaqVan's original reply:
Dec 26, 2009 - Hi Mr. KrishMaqVan,
Thank you sir, sincerely for your speedy answer,
I can not boot At The Moment from my cd which I left in another apartment of mine up North in Israel. (I am an Israeli).
This week I shall be staying in my apartment in Central Israel.
In any case I am not sure if damage has been caused to the Entire computer.
However, I will do the following to know where things stand at the moment.
Having no Xp Pro Original Cd available at the moment for the reason I stated above,
I understand I can boot from 6 floppies.
I have downloaded from the microsoft website
the file WinXP_EN_PRO_BF.exe from which to create these 6 floppies.
I will probably need your assistance sir as to when and how to insert the 6 floppies once they have been prepared.
I understand that I need to change the Bios Boot Preference (or default)
to Floppy and start by inserting Diskette no. 1 when asked to begin the floppy booting process.
If I EVER reach the stage when I am prompted to enter the Original Xp Pro Disc I will
have to go to my apartment up North to get hold of it and insert it to my computer cd drive.
(what a mess...)
In addition Sir,
How is it that Microsoft Lifecam offer no support whatsoever for a VAST technical issue as crashing down
the xp pro o.s. having not being able to complete the Lifecam vx-3000 setup process?
My xp pro is 32 bit, Not 64 (they say/warn that Lifecam Vx-3000 will not function with XP 64 bit o.s).
I checked the LifeCam system requirements PRIOR to installing the Lifecam setup file
and there was nothing at all to indicate/forewarn that my o.s. was not compatible with LifeCam Vx-3000.
I almost got through the entire LifeCam Vx-3000 setup process
(one could see an advancing green line.. almost being complete) and suddenly...
