Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You
must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool
and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for
the problem(s)
Legend
of Abbreviations. ABS Anti-lock brake system. TCS Traction control
system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint
system, BCM Body control module. TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System
Hello this is the link direct from LG if your unit is an LG on the DE error message http://lgknowledgebase.com/kb/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=799 sometimes you can get the error to clear by unplugging the unit for 7 minutes which causes the control to reset if it reappears then you would have to replace the door lock assembly in the unit. If you have any further questions message me back Thanks Rick
basicly means the door lock has not cleared in the home position usually it will reset by unplugging the 7 minutes
Hi, "dl"indicates a door lock error. A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to lock it 6 times before displaying the error. Check for the following when dl occurs:
Door Lock Mechanism broken.
Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly for foreign objects
Check Wire Harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
Hi Thanks for using FixYa. LE error is a communication error
between the control board and the motor. In you LG washer the Hall Effect
sensor board monitors the direction and speed of the motor and sends this
information to the control board. Usually the issue is with this Hall Effect
sensor going bad and should be replaced. However, to make sure it’s not a
locked motor, try turning the drum with your hand. And, if you feel some
resistance while turning the drum or the drum doesn’t move freely then the
motor is locked and you’ll need to get it replaced. If it is fine then it is
the Sensor. Please do rate the solution if the issue is
resolved or post a comment for further assistance. Thanks Rylee
The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...
Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused. You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.
If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display. This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.
Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

The aperture ring must be locked in position when using automatic aperture control. When the aperture ring is in any other position the 'format error' message appears and the camera is inoperative. Now that my ring is locked in position the camera works fine.
