Hello - I have power to the amp with blinking lights no sound - only a rythmic thud out of the woofer every 15 seconds.

Hiya, would suggest it is most likely one of the output chips (amp chip) is blown. Sorry but will need someone with experience etc to change the IC. Best of luck

Jeff

Check the fuses, as well as your power connection and your ground. Make sure you have proper voltage into the amp. My main fuse to my amp had a bad connection and the amp wigged out much like yours. If all else fails your amp could be bad. If you run it at high levels for long periods of time it reduces the life of the amp due to natural heat damage. Anything that generates heat and or friction has a limited life span. The more heat it creates the shorter its life. You might need to take it to a shop and get it checked if all connections are good. and check the remote input.

Little late I know, but.. when you power off the tv it SHOULD turn off about 25 seconds later. Assuming thats how you have it hooked up is directly to the tv.

Dear Sir, I hav dell vostro 1015 laptop with windows Xp Operating system. I have purchased 4.1 subwoofer system. When i am connecting subwoofer to pc audio output & all 4 speakers to back of...

Recheck your wiring and instructions. If your woofer is self powered perhaps the amp is no good. Actually it better have amps since the laptop output will not power those speakers.

Power not running constantly through amplifier

You might check your ground cable for poor connection. If it is attached to the painted chassis of the automobile, the paint needs to be scraped off a little. Or go to a local audio shop or Walmart and buy a cheap capacitor. It is supposed to hold power in itself providing the amp constant power for just this reason.

Amp powers on but sub does not come on

I would double-check your RCA's on the amplifier. You should hear a thud if you unplug them. If not they are either not hooked up or defective.

Bose acousticmass 15 sub-woofer making a noise

The sub contains the amp for the other speakers. But it sounds like the amp has a seriously damaged section and will probably have to be serviced by Bose.

Amps and sub-woofer not working

Enter into the Audio Setup mode(press and hold volume button for at least 1 second). Next, repeatedly push the volume button until the display shows "2 ZONE". Make sure this feature is turned off. Hold the volume button again for at least 1 second to leave Audio Setup mode.

Now you need to make sure the Subwoofer Output is turned on. Do this by holding down(AM position) on the control knob(toggle stick) for at least 1 second. Each time the button is pressed, the Subwoofer Output is turned ON/OFF. the display should show "SW ON".

Next, you can go into Audio Control mode(press but do not hold volume button). Keep pressing on the volume knob until "Sub-WLevel" is displayed. Here you can adjust the amount of gain for the Subwoofer ranging from -15 to +15.

I hope this fixes your problem with it.

Cheers
