There should be button on the front of the drive to open it. Try looking for an "Idiots Guide to PC's" or "Wally's Guide to PC's" on Amazon or in your local book shop. Both these series are very good.

I cnt open my pen drive..it's showing insert disk..it is a cruzer blade 16gb pen drive..and I have a windows XP..

Windows XP should be able to automatically detect and install it. Try using it on another computer that has either Windows XP, Vista , or Windows 7 on it. If it doesn't automatically detect and install it on that one then the flashdrive is dead.

My dvd drive is not recognizing any cd or dvd. it is since 1 and 1/2 months. even i cannot erite any dvd and cd. plz sir tell me some solution for it.

Make sure the light on the drive is coming on when you insert a disk. I am assuming that drive tray opens and closes when you press the button and that you are not opening the tray manually or forcing it open. Try to spray some compressed air into the drive with the tray open incase anything is interferring with the laser. Has anyone been inside the computer lately that may have disconnected a cable from the back of the drive? Not to be funny, but make sure you are inserting the disk right side up. You may just have to buy a new drive.

Make sure that you insert the memory card into the adapter with the gold side of the memory card facing you and to the right and the silver side of the adapter facing away from you. 3. Insert the floppy disk adapter into the diskette drive on your computer. 4. Double-click the PhotoMAX shortcut on your desktop to open the software. 5. Click Get Photo. 6.
