I can understand that--I had problems in the beginning too. Please take a look at page 72 of your user's manual, specifically step #3. Do you see the flat part of your case? That's supposed to go under the foot. Equally important, though, is a projection on your case on the right side towards the bottom. THAT'S supposed to rest against a silver part in the holder (called a bobbin basket). That silver part is a spring that prevents the case from rotating as you sew and the bobbin thread unwinds.
When you insert it, put it in slightly clockwise (to the right) of where it should actually go, then rotate it to the left. Visually check to make sure that all four sides are evenly seated in the basket, because it's easy to insert it so that it's just slightly off. Rotate it to the left slightly to make sure that that projection on the case is really resting and being stopped by that silver spring. That's #5 on the same page in the user's manual.
