Cant see snc rz30n, appear ip ip setup window, won't load page

Camera connected to gateway via ethernet cable, ip setup program sees the camera and gives me the ip of the camera and the serial number etc, normally i would just click on the camera name and ip and would bring up the camera homepage on the browser, now it just gives me a page load error, i tried to do a hard reset, but it will not change the ip address anymore, and it used to, camera was fine for months, don't know if my network settings are right, or the browsers for that matter. thanks for anyones help

I have 2 sony snc-rz30N cameras that recently can not be seen on the network. They are all pluged in however the network light on the camera does not come on.

Check the 12 Volt AC adapters for correct levels. Connect one computer ONLY to the cameras on the Ethernet and see if you can communicate. Verify you get composite video from the BNC jack. Check your router.

Need default IP address for the SONY SNC-RZ30N

if it's inside your LAN, try 192.168.0.196 or something close to that. If you're trying to access it remotely, you'll need a static IP from your ISP.

make sure you are using a crossover cable. A straight through ethernet cable will not work for talking with your computer. Next, go to your network connections. click on TCP/IP properties and enter in for the IP address 192.168.0.101 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 apply it. go back to network connections and disable then enable your connection. Now go to the Sony IP setup program. Double click on your camera when it appears. Don't forget the default address of the camera is 192.168.0.100.
