Does not appear to power up. No lights, fan... anything. Voltage through fuse = good. Checked connections = good.

I suspect something is causing the pc board to fail but I see no indication of overheating/burns/blisters except for a chip out of the to end of the black cover of this relay -(http://pdf.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheets2/69/69039_1.pdf) in the RY-YV labeled location. I can supply pics. The board = XXYD-M V1.5 2004/03/03 I am thinking about ordering a replacement pcboard but before I did, I wanted to get some feedback. I would like to know if there is anything else I can check and eliminate to be sure this is the part required. Also, I tried to find this board (https://www.encompassparts.com/model/DBYDPAC9030/_/_/Danby/DPAC9030/PORTABLE_AIR_CONDITIONER) but am not 100% as to which one it is listed. Please confirm if it is A2516-710. Thank you for any consideration and time. I am a disabled person who tries to learn and do as much as I can and really value any help that can get my A/C on again. FYI, I am near Vancouver BC. I was going to order the part online or through Amre unless you can offer a better service. Thanks again!! :)

You may need to reset the unit, if you did not turn it OFF & unplug it when you drained the tanks
To reset the units electronics, turn the unit OFF and unplug it for 15 minutes. After the time has elapsed, plug the unit in & turn it ON. The electronics should have reset and reverted back to the original factory settings. If so, you can adjust the settings to where you like.

Hope this helped you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

How to diagnose no cooling fan on 2002 mercedes benz c 320

First check the fuse, check to see that you get a reading on at least one side. If you have nothing at the fuse, the wire from the battery to the Fuse-box is suspect. If you have a light this wire is not suspect. If you have both sides of the fuse powered, check the wires at the Fan itself for voltage~IF you have voltage the fan will need to be replaced. If you find that you don't have voltage at the FAN and the fuse is good, the wiring from the fuse to the fan is suspect. Thank You for using FixYa.com Come back if needed.

Wall switch and remote quit working for fan and light

Simple things to check - sometimes the vibration from the fan will cause the wires to come loose. Drop the fan and make sure both wire nuts are secure - take the opportunity to check and make sure you have voltage (using a voltmeter or a 110v test light) at the junction box. Do you have lights on the fan? Do they come on? If you have power to the fan, something is amiss inside the fan such as a faulty speed switch or connection.

Light dims but won't turn off with remote

I am affraid that there is not an economical solution for your fan. Afterf four years you probably have a dust build up on circuitry causing a short and excess heat. If you have a source of compressed air for instance an air compressor or a keyboard cleaned you can try blowing out the inner components of the fan. Good luck.

2004 dodge neon fuse problem.

yes thats possible, because sometimes like you've explainde some items are on the same fuse, but some items are on the same ground, thus causing something else to appear faulty. so its possible that all of these items are on the same ground and because a fuse or relay for the a/c is faulty, it may cause something else like the dome light and door locks not to work , very crazy with these newer cars.

I HAVE A 95 C280 FANS DO NOT TURN ON WHEN AC TURNED ON

Hi. here are a few steps that will help you troubleshoot this fan issue you are experiencing.

Step1 Check for broken wires or loose connectors around the fan circuit. Inspect connectors at the fan motor, relay, sensor or heat sensitive switch, and the Electronic Control Module (ECM)--your car’s computer control system. Also, make sure to check for a possible blown fan fuse. These are common and overlooked troublesome spots that may cause a fan to fail. Step2 Run and bring the engine to warm temperature. With the engine running, use a voltage test light to check for power to the motor fan. Be extra careful and make sure to keep your hands and tools away from the belt, fan or any other engine moving parts. If voltage is reaching the fan motor, the test light should glow. Step3 Turn off the engine after you see the light glow. Apply direct voltage to the fan motor from your car battery using a pair of spare wires. If the fan fails to operate, replace the fan motor. If the motor operates, your problem is in the motor connector. Step4 Locate the heat-sensitive switch or heating sensor if the fan motor operates with direct voltage and the test light did not glow. You should find the sensor in the radiator, engine block, or thermostat housing. Step5 Measure the resistance across the heating sensor with the multimeter. With the engine at cool temperature (engine off), it should register infinite resistance; with the engine at warm temperature (engine off), you should read low resistance. If both readings state infinite resistance install a new heating sensor, that’s the cause of your failing fan. Step6 Check the action of the fan relay if the heating sensor is registering variable resistance. Your service manual should specify the power and ground wires according to color codes and the proper way to test it. If the fan relay fails the test replace it with a new one. Step7 Check the connections going to the ECM after you determine the fan relay is working properly. If you find broken wires or loose connectors, make the necessary repairs. If you suspect a defective ECM take your vehicle to a service shop for a computer analysis. In most cases, the ECM is rare to be the cause of a failing fan. The above steps should take you to the root cause of your problem and help you fix the cooler fan.

Please rate and god bless.

I would check your fans first , a failed cpu fan will cause the computer to overheat and not start.then cables, add-in cards and memory to be sure ones not halfway in it's slot.. then i would suspect the power supply, they can be missing power on a rail and still have a light on the back. you can buy a power supply tester at tigerdirect for 20 dollars. once all this is checked , i would look to the motherboard..
hope this helps in the decision making process..

Head Lights

If only the headlights are dull and not putting out the correct light, I would suspect a bad ground (earth) connection somewhere in the headlight circuit or the fuse for the headlight circuit. Something is causing excessive resistance and causing less voltage to be provided for the headlights. If all the lights are dimly lit, then I would check the charging system, the battery and the ground cable for the battery, chassis, and engine.

Your dryer is equipped with a thermal fuse located behind the drum seat on the heating coil.

http://www.applianceaid.com/la-1053.html

There are two white wires connected to the fuse. Pull those off and connect together. Your door light will come on if that is your problem. There might have been a problem that caused the fuse to blow. Check for kinked dryer hoses, dirty lint traps or anything that might have caused it to overheat. You must replace the fuse or you risk catching the dryer on fire.
