You have all posted different issues into one forum - bad idea.
For the laptop people - many laptops have USB ports that do not have enough power to drive/charge an Mp3 player - must use USB 2.0 ports.
"HD Audio Bus" guy - go here for the missing driver: Go to Microsoft's own site, and try the hotfix/driver:

Woest - Try
this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume
+ button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume +
button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds.
Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will
pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

it works fine until i plug it into my laptop, my laptop not reading it
i-river H10 5gb works fine. but when I connect it to my computer it says: 'USB Device not recognized' Doing the same same on different computers
h10 says its connected but no signal on the comp...also having trouble installing ms "hd audio bus"
