HARD RESET in Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Smartphone Please Note: The result of this
process will wipes the entire phone memory and settings fresh to how it
was (or should be) when you bought it.You are advise to make a back up
of your device and you need to understand that what you are doing this
is at your own risk. We will not be held liable for any type of loss
that may occur during the reset process.
For Hard Reset;
-Turn the Phone Off
-Press and Hold ANSWER + REJECT + CAMERA keys simultaneously.
- Turn ON the phone by pressing the Power Button
- Wait for the handshake / Nokia logo appears.
FOR SOFT RESET
For Soft Reset;- back to
factory settings: This should maintain your data
(contacts/messages/calendar/notes etc), just returning your Nokia X6,
5800 XpressMusic back to all previous settings
Settings>Phone>>Phone Management>>>Factory Settings
Your phone's software is corrupted. Try to do a hard reset. While the phone is off. Press the green call key, red key and the camera key. While holding these keys turn on your phone. Don't leave the keys untill you see the nokia logo.
If it doesn't work you have to get your phone flashed.
I was also looking for that, but i couldn't find it. But i got one solution to format Nokia 5800 it doesn't work for security code. To format or hard reset nokia 5800 press 'green key, red key and camera botton. After pressing these three botton, press the power which is located at the top. When it shake release only the power botton not the green, red and camera botton. It will start up your phone and after sometime it will display country botton and now you can release the keys. Thats it. This is call Hard Reset.
try to do a hard reset on your phone, remove your sim and memory card, but please be aware that this will erase your user settings once a successful hard reset had taken place. try doing this trick if it will work on your phone. 1. turn off your 5800 phone 2. press these keys, green key, red key and camera keys and turn on your phone without removing your fingers from the keys. 3. keep pressing until you see the nokia sharing hands logo.
