I work on these every day. Its either gonna be the rotor or stater, the voltage regulator,or its a bad stepper motor which is the throttle motor, or control board. Thats all that could be causing that so its one of those. If its the rotor or stater thats bad it causes the generator to RPM up because it thinks its not producing enough power due to that then it shuts down.

How to fix over speed fault in desiel generator?

On the flywheel is a small sensor you should see it, like a threaded bolt with wires, that goes into the housing. This is the mag pickup speed sensor, it can get metal filings on it causing this fault. Unscrew it and wipe it off, screw it CAREFULLY all the way down with your fingers until it touches the flywheel then back out one turn, it is a small gap. Crank engine and measure the voltage on the sensor wires will be approx 2 VAC if it is working, if not replace sensor

1) please LUBE THE deck bel, this happen because the lack of maintenance, the machine is shutdown for enoug friction , this mean maybe there are deck worn. This shutdown for protect the electronic system
2)LUBE the rollers bearings. too
3) test the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair or replace.
4) measure the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.
see the block diagram.
God bless you

Frequency adjustment or solution

Can you check the RPM of the engine? 3600 RPM = 60 HZ. If it is running around that speed, try a different frequency meter.

If it was producing 180 HZ, it should automatically shut down and show a fault code!

Sony grand wega KDF55WF655 6 red blinks

you can try these steps if this doesn't work I suggest replacing IC8002 on the power supply
Low HV Shutdown:
On the D Board.
Check IC8004/pin 7 should be 7.4v.
Check IC8006/pin 2 should be 2.5v if lower will trigger shutdown by causing pin 1 to turn on.
Check IC8006/pin 3 reference voltage 2.2v.
IC8006/pin 1 normally at 0v. If high turns D5007 ON which turns the latch circuit Q6532,
Q6530, and Q6527 ON and turns the AC relay RY6501 OFF.

NOTE: 6 blinks also can be Low B+ protection.

Unregulated 7.5 v from the power supply to 5v reg IC504 on the A Board. 5v to M Board Q2314
to CPU IC2300/pin 43. If 5v missing set will shutdown with 6 blinks

My sceptre monitor S1902D won't turn on just stopped

If the monitor has no power at all then you have a dead power board, or a broken power cord, test also a different wall AC outlet.

If instead there is a flashing led on front of the monitor, that indicates a fault condition.

The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the Monitor goes on protection there are only two possible causes.

1 The internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the protection circuit.

2 The protection circuit detected a wrong voltage or a broken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in , starting the flashing light.

If you are in situation one, then the monitor will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.

If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.

Common faults that can occurr suddenly are a blown capacitor on power board, the inverter board powering up backlight lamp has blown, or a fault on main lcd controller board.
check also the video cable, if the cable is shorting, or the connector is bad, you can get same flashing state because of the video cable.

Check connectors, try moving the video cable, and if the cable is not built in, then also try a replacement cable.
