SOURCE: Water builds up behind heat exchanger

I don't know if there is a cure for this. Bosch never answers my calls or my e-mails, but I have found that by blowing in the hose to disengage the lint collecting there and then sucking out the line will remove nearly all of the build up amd drying will resume.

SOURCE: Re-set button location?

you need to remove the back panel the smaller one that covers heater matrix you will find a thermostat with a red reset button on it when you push it it will click and reset however you should find out why this happened before you use it again as it only does this if it overheats.

hope this helps

SOURCE: bosch axxis wtl 5410 dryer takes too long to dry.

You should have a cycling thermostat. this is most likely bad or your dryer vent may be clogged. Something is cutting the heat off before it gets hot enough. Both these cause this problem.

The Dryer is leaking water onto the floor.

Check and make sure the drain hose in the back is securely connected from the dryer to the drain. If its leaving out the front compartment by the heat exchanger, then you need a new drain pump.

My dryer is leaking from the bottom. service man said either the tube or the pan is cracked. tube seems ok, so is the pan replaceable or glueable. could there be another reason to look for leak. dryer has...

Open the bottom front panel. Remove the heat exchanger. Take notice to see if theres any water in that compartment. Reach your hand towards the back of that opening to see if there is water pooling back there. If theres water present, then your condensation pump needs to be replaced.
also double check the connection of the drain hose from the dryer to the drain.

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

You are correct, the unit being a condenser model doesn`t require any additional venting or exhaust to outdoors, that is the purpose of condensing the moisture internally.

As to the issue of air flowing out of the unit I`d suspect perhaps the heat exchange may need cleaning, if it is plugged it will cause the air to be directed elsewhere.

I`ve attempted to attach below the procedure for cleaning, if unsuccessful for whatever reason, too small for example, you or your landlord can email me at [email protected] and I can send you the "pdf" guide for your Bosch dryer.

My Bosch Axxis WTL 5410 will turn on and spin but no heat comes out of it. I cleaned the heat exchanger and wiped down the moisture sensors inside the drum, but still can't get heat out of it. I've read...

How long have you had the dryer (is it still under Warranty) and do you have the owner's manual and have you looked in it for a solution?

If not then you can contact the manufacturer on line to pose the problem to them.

There may not be a reset button on it at all. If there isn't then it is more than likely the heating element and you will have to replace it.

Error Code

open the thing up and locate the service manual. once located it should list what that error means. alternatively call bosch and ask them.
